Meridian Law Summer Associate PrograM

The Meridian Summer Associate Program allows rising third-year law students the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys across various practice areas. We recognize the importance of nurturing young talent and strive to create a summer experience that reflects an attorney’s first year of practice - which means learning through experience. Summer Associates will attend firm meetings, conduct research and draft accompanying memoranda, draft pleadings, discovery, and other pretrial motions.

At Meridian, we believe in investing in the future of the legal profession and our attorneys focus on providing opportunities to attend hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and other case-specific proceedings.

If you have the desire to practice in the Nashville area after graduation and possess the following characteristics, we would love to hear from you:

  • Strong interest in civil litigation

  • Proven leadership ability and work ethic

  • Exceptional character, grit, and an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Strong research and writing skills

  • History of community service

Preference given to students in the top 25% of their class with Journal and/or mock trial and moot court experience.
