Appraisal Company Must Show More Than Ordinary Competition to Prevent Appraiser from Joining Competitor

As reported on Mr. Shumate's blog on Tennessee non-compete cases (www.tennesseenoncompetelaw.com), the Tennessee Court of Appeals recently affirmed a trial court's ruling that an appraisal company's non-competition agreement was unenforceable because it could not demonstrate that its former employee was engaging in unfair competition.
